This tastes fresher compared to canned hearts of palm I’ve had before.

5 stars for the freshness and quality of this product! The packaging is excellent. If you already like Hearts of Palm, I am confident you would be completely impressed with this brand. If you are new to this vegetable, there may be a learning curve. To me, it's similar to cauliflower and tofu in that, with the right recipe, it can take on the flavor of other foods and possibly be a healthier option. There are a lot of recipes that use Hearts of Palm in place of seafood and/or potatoes. I have been experimenting with these recipes because I am trying to eat lower amounts of carbs, and the whole bag is very low in carbs. Taste and texture is subjective, but the good quality of this product is clear!

These are surprisingly tasty, but it's a very muted flavor. They don't overwhelm your pallet but they're still good at providing some depth to whatever you're eating, or a nice snack on their own. My package arrived fine, no leaking and the hearts were fresh. For a food I'm not too familiar with I feel like these were priced well.
