This is a wonderfully simple recipe that’s sure to keep your hunger at bay, no matter what kind of day you’ve had. We love that this recipe is a great way to get some fruit and veg goodness into you with the added benefit of being combined with our wonderfully tasty hearts of palm spaghetti - it’s wonderful!
If you’re a spice lover, we would suggest adding some chili flakes to the pan at the same time as the garlic. As you cook them, stir the contents of the pan around constantly to prevent burning. This will put some wonderful heat into the meal as you cook, which is nearly impossible to hate.
If the garlic or chili flakes start to catch, we would suggest adding some small splashes of water to the pan. Be sure not to add too much, though, as the water will boil very quickly, which can lead to oil spitting at you during the cooking process. Therefore, aim for simply a tablespoon or so at a time. This will slow the cooking process down nicely, allowing you to extract as much flavor from your ingredients as possible.
To boost the dish even further, cook some bacon or chicken in the pan at the same time as your garlic - it will be impeccably flavored, and add some great protein to the plate.
