Brown Rice Bowl with Turkey and Asparagus

Ingredients

1 cup hearts of palm brown rice 


1 cup hearts of palm brown rice 

1 skinless turkey breast, cut into strips

1 cup of asparagus, cut into small pieces

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to tas


Directions

 20 minutes prep and cook time.

Instructions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the asparagus and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the turkey strips, low-sodium soy sauce, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through. Incorporate the heart of palm brown rice into the skillet with the turkey and asparagus mixture.
  4. Mix well and serve hot.
