Sausage Mummies with Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch of Natural Heaven Spaghetti
  • 5 sausages
  • 1 cup of tomato purée
  • 1 tsp of onion powder
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • ½ cup of sliced black olives
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Directions

 20 minutes prep and cook time.


Serves: 4

Instructions:

  1. In a hot pan with oil, sauté the spaghetti for 5 minutes over medium heat. Set aside a small portion of the spaghetti strands to wrap the sausages.
  2. Mix the remaining spaghetti with the tomato purée, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Keep warm.
  3. Brown the sausages in a pan over medium heat.
  4. With the reserved spaghetti, wrap each sausage to create a mummy effect, leaving a gap for the eyes. Place the black olive slices in the gap.
  5. Return the sausage mummies to the pan and heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the sauced spaghetti on a plate and top with the sausage mummies.
