Southwest-Style Rice Burrito

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch of Natural Heaven Hearts of Palm Southwest Rice
  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons of salsa or pico de gallo

Directions

 10 minutes prep and cook time.


Serves: 2

 

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Southwest Rice in the microwave inside the pouch for 1 minute. 
  2. Lay the tortilla flat on a clean surface and add guacamole salsa, lettuce, cheese.
  3. Southwest rice, and pico de gallo. 
  4. Wrap into a burrito: fold the sides in and roll tightly. 
  5. Wrap in paper towel and pack in a food container.
