Hearts of Palm Risotto Sun Dried Tomato Basil and Shrimp

Who doesn’t love rice and basil? Oh, we all do – for me; shrimps and basil have been the go to be it snack, supper or dinner. I just love them! What about you? This easy recipe with Natural Heaven White Rice, Basil Sauce and Parmesan Cheese is a must for your dinner table. Get your apron tight and let’s get going!


Here is what you need: 

  • Three cups Natural Heaven White Rice
  • Two tablespoons Basil Sauce
  • One tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • Four shrimps
  • Three tablespoons vegetable stock
  • One tablespoon sun-dried tomatoes – finely sliced
  • One tablespoon olive oil Salt and pepper – to taste

What you need to do:

Step # 1: Start off by taking the Natural Heaven White rice and rinse them properly. Now drain the water and continue the process until you can see that they are clean.

Step # 2: Now put the vegetable stock to boil and let it simmer for a while. 

Step # 3: Next up, add in the Natural Heaven White Rice in the vegetable stock and let it boil. Continue adding in the Basil Sauce, Sun –Dried Tomatoes and shrimp. Let this cook at a medium to low flame for eight minutes. 

Step # 4: We’re almost there! Finish off with adding the Parmesan Cheese and serve with shrimp on the top of risotto. Now plate it out in your favorite dish and enjoy!


Chef’s Tip of the Day: This dish, easy to make, is filled with nutritional benefits and is healthy, over it all. You can always make the dish fancy and even more appetizing by adding sides, including baked potato bites, sweet potato fries or some herb sautéed vegetables. Also, to level up the game you may add in herbs or finish off with a squeeze of lemon.
